Sunny. Temps in the teens. Calm becoming breezy. 2 GS races on Black Powder. 2 courses, redress for each race.

AM race was fairly dancy, shorter vertical distance without a ton of offset, but enough. I skied pretty well, only minor issues, and pushing the line. And I came out with the win! Really tight field, with the podium all within a tenth.

PM set was way more distance, more direct, and arrhythmical. Wind picking up, and definitely a factor. First run, I think I was actually skiing really well, but went a bit too straight into a chicane and had to throw it sideways into the duff. Ended up a ways out. Second run, I thought I skied better, if a bit more conservative. Much windier, though, but overall pretty good. Not sure how, but I was over a second out on the run. Oh well. Ended up in 4th for the PM, less than a tenth off the podium.

Overall, a really fun day.
