Sunny, with clouds moving in. Temps near 20, pretty windy. About an hour of freeski on the Enforcers to close the day (3-4). A bit of a mountain tour, starting with a run off Chets to get to Ptarmagin. From there, went via South Chutes to 4 for the first time this year. The ungroomed was surprisingly good. Off of four, traversed a while before coming down North Chutes. While the snow was deeper, I don't think it was better. I certainly didn't ski it as well - way more defensive because there was no real base, just down to the ground, and a bunch of stumps and such.

After that, back to Chet's and a couple of runs off of 6. Where they usually have the terrain park looked sweet, and I tried to rip through there, but I came ripping into a section and there were surprise moguls, which was exciting. I was able to shut it down without any issues and go through, but it was a bit sketchy. Second run, I went wide and through an area I knew a bit better, and it was really fun. A couple of rippers off of Chet's to end the day. Really skied well the last few runs on the groom, too. Big angles, early pressure, tight radius turns.

Super fun afternoon.
