Snowing, very windy, temps in the mid-teens. Powder day—over 8 inches overnight and more coming down. Visibility was tough with the blowing snow, but … trees are your friend. Headed over to Ptarmigan and began lapping South Chutes…it was great. Knee deep, and started making good turns after the first lap. After 4 or 5, started skiing just to skiers right of Ptarmigan for a few laps. Visibility tougher, but the snow was great.

Then over to 6 for a run down Deuces Wild before heading back down to the bottom. Then back up Chet’s for a couple runs on the runs to skiers right of the lift. Challenging and steep but super fun. Felt the legs going dead, so headed back up Ptarmigan for another lap of Bennett’s and a last lap down South Chutes.

Great morning. Super fun.
