Cloudy, temps around 20F. Morning SL session. Generally feeling like garbage post-Covid and flu shots. Still, made a go of it. Keeli set three sections—a relatively normal section off the road, a section in the middle with no regular rhythm or tempo that fluctuated from 8m to around 16m, and then a normal section on the bottom flat.

The top section was tough bc the first four gates were super slick and arrhythmic, but I generally skied it well. My tactics and execution in the middle got better with each run too.

Got four runs in gates before I was completely spent. Finished with a free run for the ego. First day on the 24 SLs. Main takeaway was that one edge was duller than the others, which checked out at the end of the session. I think I’ll like them.

Good way to end 2023. Hopefully I start feeling better.
