Sunny, temps rising from the mid 30s to near 50 at the base. Met up with some Masters folks at 830, and headed over toward 8. The corduroy under the lift was sublime, and it was starting to corn up at the bottom. Lapped over there for a while, then headed back. Off the groom, still a bit suspect, but starting to soften. Under 4 was softening up nicely, but we went back to the bottom to try and gather more folks. Back up Chet's and to Ptarmigan with Leif, and we did a lap down South Chutes (not awesome), and then up 9 for a lap down Primer Bowl, which was surprisingly good. Went to the bottom and hooked up with Doug B and his friend Eric, from Chet's to 4 for a couple laps on the softening goods, then down North Chutes back to Ptarmigan. North Chutes were okay, a bit bony, not completely softened.

Doug and Eric stopped at Ptarmigan Roost for lunch, and I kept skiing. Alternated runs down Ptarmigan and 6 on the groom, getting huge angles on soft creamy groomers ... just awesome. By 1:15, I was toast, and called it a day as clouds started to move in.

What an awesome spring day.
