Midday SL session. Snowing, temps in the low 10s. First day on the '22 SLs, and they really came around nicely. Two 20-gate sections, one on the mid-flat, one down the final pitch and across the bottom flat. Really skied pretty well in a small group.

But then, disaster - ripped the toepiece out of one of the skis and went down pretty hard. Guess they didn't give long enough screws. Will have to dig some longer screws out or something, I guess. Luckily, had the '19 SLs just in case, and took a couple more runs with those. Adapted pretty quick, but the '22s do come around a bit quicker since they're a tidge softer and have more sidecut.

To rub salt in the wound, at the end of the session, somebody stole the toepiece, so I'm going to have to buy another pair. Ugh.
