Morning Start with a lovely English woman (a “Brexit refugee,” she said) who’d had a defeating first day yesterday and who thought she couldn’t ski. Had her making turns right away on the middle carpet, then again on the big carpet. She was smiling. Then we went up the chair and we made several runs from the top of South Peak. She was ecstatic.

Skied the afternoon with Diana, Gary, and another instructor — Diana clinic-ing them for their level 2s and throwing out tips for my Level 1. The snow was very soft by then. Need to wax for it.
