Mount Sunapee, New Hampshire

Worked on drills — crab walk on the main mountain, then Schlopy, after running into an instructor giving a private (we talked on the lift). Also slid in with a clinic that was working with PSIA challenge questions — in this case, an intermediate whose inside ski tip lifted in turns. My diagnosis: weight back. My suggestion: stork turn drill (inside tail lifted). Others agreed with diagnosis, but thought turning on the inside ski was preferable. (The Level 2 I talked with later agreed with me.)
