Mount Sunapee, New Hampshire

Thursday, March 7, 2019

Mixed day, quite cold, platonic snow. Missed a school group assist in the morning; worked with Charles's dynamic skiing workshop until eleven, then caught up with Sue's school group. Took her lowest level skier, a homeschooled girl. Worked on transitions to parallel.

Afternoon — worked with a thirty-something Day 3 Start Here, whose ambition was to get to the lift. She had control issues. Suggested she move her hips over her boots, which did the trick. W/in an hour we were on the lift. Took several runs.

Afterwards, hit the mountain for a couple of runs that felt greased — the first one, down Hansen-Chase, felt perfect.
